Tania graduated with a B.A. and Diploma in Education in Performing arts, music and dance in and completed studies in acting, music and movement at The John Bolton Theatre School in 1991.

Tania has been working as a TaKeTiNa Rhythm Process teacher, since 1998 and trained with founder and master percussionist, Reinhard Flatischler. She is currently training at the Senior level in this work and is assisting Reinhard Flatischler as Senior Assistant in the first TaKeTiNa Teacher Training in Australia.

In 2004 Tania was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to research and study intensively, Korean drum and dance styles in Seoul, at the SamulNori Academy.

Tania has continued to work professionally as an actor, musician, director, musical director, teacher and community artist on a wide range of projects, events and festivals across Australia. Her roles have included:

  • Dr Egg & The Man with No Ear as actor/vocalist for Jessica Wilson Productions 2010 Canadian Tour
  • Dream Masons, by Jessica Wilson for 10 Days on The Island
  • Chamber Made Opera's Phobia as drummer/actor
  • Stomp, as a drummer
  • As well The Graeme Leak String Quartet, Born in a Taxi, Rawcus, Gonghouse and the internationally touring street theatre group The Hunting Party.

She was musical director for the opening ceremony of The Melbourne International Festival 2008 for Longing & Belonging by Margie Mackay — and is currently working as musical director for Lu'Arn with Jacob Boehme's new indigenous dance company Idja to be launched in Feb 2012.

Tania recently worked as Musical Director with Margie Mackay on the Dreaming at the G event and is currently writing Exit, for her 12 piece Balkan Orkestra, The Barefoot Orkestra.

Tania works nationally as a TaKeTiNa facilitator and specilalist rhythm and voice teacher to actors and performers and her business Pulse Rhythm focuses on rhythm for transformation as she works across education, health, arts, community, and the coprorate sectors.
